C'est d'autant amusant de lire ces affirmations qui ne veulent rien dire qu'il nous parle même de saison, on est dans la complète divagation.Quant aux remèdes de ce cher docteur on les trouve régulièrement "Brain Mood" sa formule magique pour l'humeur avec une liste d'ingrédients longue comme le bras.Sinon pour la méditation, ce cher docteur conseille de méditer en chantant, c'est mieux parait il...Pour le sport, il faut être à proximité d'une colline que l'on grimpe à l'aide d'altères dans les bras... J'ai déjà lu des choses bêtes mais là ....Pour la sérotonine, on retiendra l'exemple de TOM en surpoids qui n'a plus d'érection mais après les remèdes de ce bon docteur,p209 : "Il a une nouvelle petite amie"... "il ne craint plus un trouble sexuel car il n'a plus aucun problème d'éjaculation". Noté bien les précisions, l'incohérence et le lien avec le sujet du livre...Pour les traitements, hormones de croissance, testostérone, compléments alimentaires en tout genre. Ah si faites du sport et soigner votre alimentation, vous irez mieux parait il.Bref, j'ai arrêté à la page 213... cela dépasse l'incroyable.En regardant sur internet on trouve :"In January 2015, the New York Post reported that (a) Braverman and his attorney Diana Moyhi were arrested for allegedly trying to steal confidential custody-case documents from a courtroom""In 2016, the New York Post reported that Braverman had been arrested again and charged with one count of felony sex abuse""In 2017, Braverman filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, listing assets of $10.7 million and $19.9 million in liabilities that include more than $950,000 to the Internal Revenue Service and $630,000 to his office landlord"

Je voulais acheter un livre scientifique, et voilà qu'il est écrit par un bigot.La traduction et la relecture sont souvent si mauvaises qu'on a peine à lire. Edge effet pour exemple se traduit très bien par "effet de bord", "effet marginal" ou "effet de lisière".Des âneries qu'on peut aisément corriger grâce à doctossimi : p56 "La cocaïne apporte à certains un régal d'énergie à court terme car son effet est similaire à celui de la dopamine" c'est vrai. Plus loin "La marijuana et les psychotropes (ont un effet similaire) sur le GABA". La cocaïne, le THC, le LSD, la MDMA, le Prozac, le Xanax ne sont pas des psychotrope ? Ils n'agissent pas tous sur le GABA, loin s'en faut.Et plus loin encore "l'ecstasy (...) sur la serotonine" C'EST FAUX, l'ecstasy et tous les dérivés d'amphétamines agissent comme la cocaïne sur la libération de la dopamine pas de sérotonine.A un autre moment au début du livre ( je n'ai pas retrouvée la page), il dit que les maladies psychiques sont dues à un problème de production de neuromédiateurs, que l'aspect truamztique est anecdotique. Cela remet en cause les travaux anciens mais toujours actuels de Freud, Erickson, Shapiro ... qui soignent les symptômes traumatiques par des méthodes cognitives et non par un "rééquilibrage" des énergies.Le Dr Braverman propose des tests. Le 1er test comporte 4 parties et 50 questions, le second 3 parties de 25 et une partie de 40. Comment s'étonner d'avoir plus de réponses positives sur une série de 40 questions que sur des séries de 25 ?La méthodologie est totalement fantaisiste et ne repose sur aucune base scientifique.Je ne vais probablement pas aller au-delà de la page 100.
